Net... very... slow... here...
Also, it is so damn nice at home now that I don't seem to be riled up about much of anything now. And even Philip Adams seems to have become kindler and gentler post-Elections, so that I occasionally find myself agreeing with him. Son cosas de la vida, eh?

It's true. There are some advantages to a slow internet connection. The net angries up the blood. I put it all down to better access to stupider opinions.
Of course, I still want home cable and a complete World of Warcraft lifestyle...
I have a recommendation to both of you: Get ADSL connected any way you can. I am sorry to say, but there is no advantages to a slow connection. Since I have had it here at work there are innumerable pluses that have come out of the woodwork. I am repeatedly sending requests to Bigpond to get me connected at home. I have talked to an engineering lecturer at the uni and it is only a matter of time before I will get it at home at the fastest possible setting. I still hope to get youse riled up enough for some serious policy debate sometime again anyhow :-@.
Working on it - but be warned, as soon as it happens, every available moment will be spent playing WoW instead of engaging in worthwhile endeavours. This is my solemn promise to me.
